1812 Plantation in Blair, SC:

View of recently installed Chandelier and plaster ceiling (restoration in progress). If you look closely, you can see my line drawing around the plaster ring and plaster medallion. The next step will be to add the 10 foot ring, swags, and scrolls. All of which will be first modeled by hand in clay , then cast in plaster.

Foyer features original stairs and staircase. Floors are heart of pine throughout.

 

While sanding the wall in the foyer, the walls revealed a record of the cotton yield for 1884. The name of Mr Fee, the owner of a nearby plantation, can be seen to the right.
