To download the image, click
on the link with the image size and type you want (e.g. 1024 x 768 under JPEG).
Your browser should either begin to load the image, or present a dialog box
asking what to do with the file.
If you get the dialog box, click on
"save file." Another dialog box should pop up which asks what filename to use
and what directory to save the file in. Enter your choices and click "OK." The
browser should begin to download the file.
If your browser loads and displays
the image, wait for it to finish loading. Then click on "File" in the menu bar,
and choose "Save as." A dialog box should pop up which asks what filename to use
and what directory to save the file in. Enter your choices and click "OK."
Another alternative, if your browser
loads and displays the image, is to right click on the image after it loads. Mac users can
hold down shift and then click. Then select "Save Image As." A dialog box should
pop up which asks what filename to use and what directory to save the file in. Enter your
choices and click "OK."
Yet another alternative is to hold
down the shift key while clicking on the link for the image you want. A dialog box should
pop up which asks what filename to use and what directory to save the file in. Enter your
choices and click "OK."
These directions were written for users
of Netscape 2.0 and above, but other browsers should behave similarly.
