This class will focus on rendering a 40s styles Pin Up from scratch. You will learn lay out strategies and what makes a successful Pin Up. We will discus tips on posing a model and directing a photo shoot. Then we will render the image based on reference photos that will be provided to you. We will still devote time to the Color Buffer Theory and learning how to match colors accurately; although, unlike our Portrait Workshops, the main focus will not be photorealism. Our goal for this class will be to create an idealized image starting from a photograph. There will also be an optional ($100) foundation instruction class on the Wednesday before classes start for those wanting to brush up on their airbrush control. Class is limited to 16 and will be filled on a first-come first serve basis. To reserve your seat today, select the course date you prefer below. Our new on-line reservation system is the easiest, safest, and most convenient method you can use to enroll. To enroll by phone, call 803-635-8060.
