$40.00

The Boeing KC-135 has proven to be an indispensable tool for the US Air Force, sustaining and increasing the endurance of both pilot and plane, allowing global reach and force multiplication to any mission.

In "The AirBridge", by artist Dru Blair, several KC-135's are depicted lining up for takeoff as the crews prepare to launch a vital support mission. The fog shrouded runway creates an aura of intrigue and mystique, and is consistent with the quiet reputation of this essential, but often overlooked, aircraft as it carries out its critical task.

The lead KC-135R, in "The AirBridge" is the Cherokee Rose, based out of Robins AFB, Georgia in the early 90's, which set several time to climb records.

"The AirBridge" was limited to 500 Signed and Numbered high quality Lithographs. Reproduced on 100 lb. Quintessence Archival Stock, each print is individually inspected, signed and numbered by the artist. The main edition is sold out and available only on the secondary market.

"The AirBridge" Giclée (pronounced "zhee-clay'), has Sold Out and is no longer available.

Giclée refers to a print of 7 or more colors which utilizes the latest in digital technology to reproduce art with breathtaking accuracy. This is the largest and most expensive version of our print line, usually measuring an overall 42" inches wide, and printed on museum quality Hahnemuhle paper for $495. A near perfect replica of the original painting, Giclée prints are limited to only 50 examples of each image, and are created for the most discriminating collectors.
